For some, for the so called GenZ’s to be actively part of electoral processes and followed up on it by being intentional, bold is something to reckon with. And now that the presidential election is over and school has resumed. It’s time to activate the student mode irrespective of what the past last semester might have exhibited, experience (s) and circumstance-wise as regards your academics and well being in general. Please hold on to something that you can relay on and ensure you don’t lose focus.
Be intentional for the right reasons. This semester still has a lot of blank pages and it’s up to you to fill it up with your success story. It’s no news that online classes has commenced although the some departments are yet to start online classes, it should be noted that the virtual classes would only last for two weeks while physical classes would commence afterwards as announced by the university’s administration. Streamline the books and essays you that would serve as your course materials. Prepare your course outlines, then go online and download potential books and essays from well-known or highly recommended authors to serve as backups for your notes.
To avoid missing any assignments, projects, or significant classes, you’ll need to be online as much as possible. Download video clips that are relevant to your classes and that will aid in your understanding to extend your learning. The only thing you really need is self-control and to stop procrastinating. There is a good chance there will be a ton of assignments and group projects, so don’t delay until the morning of the deadline to begin them (as most of us do).
As soon as you are instructed what to submit, begin. You could argue that you still manage to finish on time even though inspiration strikes at the eleventh hour. But you are aware in your heart that you can do better. Why don’t you start taking notes and revising frequently to produce a nearly flawless work. Despite the fact that some people think it is virtually impossible to raise one’s CGPA in the second semester due to the workload and extracurricular activities, it is not impossible. Work on your grades while also performing to the best of your ability in whatever role you hold.
To all students who are prepared to put their all into this semester and to those who simply want to get along, Cheers to a presumably wonderful semester!
