University of Ibadan ranks the most transparent university nationwide – JAMB

The University of Ibadan gets commended by Professor Ishaq Oloyede, the Registrar and Chief Executive of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) on her transparency on the issue of admission. He called the university the most transparent university among all other universities in the country.

He stated in his words that "the university would never compromise admission criteria in terms of merit list, catchment areas, and other considerations for any candidate"

“Once a candidate meets up with admission criteria such as cut-off marks and has the right Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) subject combination for the chosen course, such a student would certainly be admitted."

He also challenged any candidate who chooses the University of Ibadan or any other institution in the country, who believes he or she meets up with the admission criteria but is not offered admission and has proof, to report such to JAMB for intervention.
