COVENANT UNIVERSITY: AN INSTITUTION RAISING LEADERS TO RESTORE THE LOST GLORY OF NIGERIA AND THE BLACK RACE

The Vice Chancellor of Covenant University, Ota, Ogun state, Prof. Abiodun Adebayo, while speaking at the school's 2021/2022 convocation ceremony, has stated that the institution, being on a rescue mission in education, is determined to raise a new generation of leaders that would restore the lost glory of Nigeria and the black race.

Speaking  further,  he points out that in just two decades of its existence, Covenant University has become a leading world-class university, the best higher education destination for students in Africa and has also emerged as the best university out of the 111 private universities in Nigeria by the Prestige Nigeria Education.

During the ceremony, the university graduated 1,934 students with 206 students bagging first-class, 744 second-class upper, 620 second-class lower, 107 in third class; and 257 post-graduate students. Miss Dashe Fatima, a student of the department of Accounting, emerged as the best graduating student with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (C.G.P.A) of 5.0.
