NAPS LRC’23 Conducts in-House Elections

The Level Representative Council of the National Association of Philosophy Students has conducted an in-house election that ushers in new principal officers on Tuesday.

Opeyemi Odugbesan Isaac from 400 level constituency emerged as the speaker of the council with seven votes. This was higher than that of his opponent, Adeniji Joel Kehinde from 300 level constituency, who has a total number of two votes.

Ola Samuel from 200 level constituency was the deputy speaker-elect elect and Felicia Ojedele from 400 level was elected as clerk, though they ran unopposed.

The spokesperson for the outgoing LRC'22 officers, Ola Samuel, commented on the election saying, " NAPSites have spoken through the level representatives. It was a fairly conducted election, thanks to the former Chairman. As one of the elected Principal Officers, I promise we shall deliver our duties excellently as entrenched in NAPS Constitution.
