"All he ever wanted to become was an Artist"
Emmanuel Nwankwo is an Artist from Abia state, Nigeria. He started his art journey in his second year in the higher institution studying Architecture after seeing his course mate drawing a potrait which inspired him to pick up his pencils and start drawing after so many years of losing intrest.
In his younger years, all he ever wanted to become was an Artist, However due to his parents being worried about the financial feasibility of such a lifestyle, they pushed him into Architecture where his love for art slowly waned before being rekindled.
He completed his latest work titled ‘Divergent’ in August 2023, which is a pencil drawing on a strathmore paper with a 35x54 inches, he tagged the drawing as his most challenging drawing ever because of the concrete details to the work which he was able to bring out through the use of make up brushes and soft painting brushes. Emmanuel Nwankwo has now decided to follow his true passion and become a full time artist.
