Calm Down, Exams Are Still Quite Far Away

I was on my way home yesterday and I realized it is the 8th week already. Wow! So slow. Was it not about three months ago we resumed? Well, the good news is that exams are still quite far away. There's still a lot of time to read and complete my notes. I wonder why this semester is so slow though. I guess I would just continue seeing the latest movies I have downloaded on Netflix. Netflix and chill all the way.

Did someone just ask me why I am not reading ahead instead? Read ahead for what? There's still a lot of time for the exams and enough time to cover and read extensively for my exams. So, why should I read ahead? A saying goes "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy". As it is now, I am already overwhelmed with going to classes and I just finished some assignments. I need a break, please. Yes! I know the aim is to have As all through this semester, exactly why I am maximizing my time.

Have I completed my notes? No, I haven't but I will in two weeks' time, at least there will still be more time to read before the exam by then. Procrastination? That's no way a procrastination, this is just me being careful of putting too much pressure on myself. This being was not made for stress. We have more weeks to exam and I definitely know I will write my notes and study for my exams.

Time flies, won't I just start reading? No. Dear invincible interviewer, I love to read when I feel the pressure. Exam is still far away as it is, so the vibe to read will not really be there. So don't stress me.

There's a lot to read on? I have my way to pull through it jare. TDBs and MTNs would come in handy. I could fall ill? Of course not. Don't worry. I got this.

I promised last semester to always read ahead? Oh! Yes, I remember. Of course, I am still going to read ahead but exams are just some weeks away now, I can always have enough time to read ahead. (Invincible interviewer vexes)

INVINCIBLE INTERVIEWER: It's the 8th week and it just two weeks to exams. You keep saying exams are far away. What are you saying??

Me: Wo! 2 weeks is still far. I am not feeling the pressure yet. I will cover it.

INVINCIBLE INTERVIEWER: Ah! At this point what exactly is your problem??

Me: I actually want to start reading but at the same time I don't want to read I start feeling guilty that I am not reading but I still wouldn't go get my book to read. Shey you get it?

INVINCIBLE INTERVIEWER: But you said you would start reading at the beginning of this semester and here we are. It is the 8th week!

Me: Wo! I will still cover. There's no need to rush things. There's still enough time to cover.

INVINCIBLE INTERVIEWER: Okay now. Aunty 'delulu'. First class is the goal. There's enough time to cover. Dey play.
