Sukky-led Administration: Delay in Distribution of Packages

By Josephine Okocha

The former President of National Association of Philosophy Students (NAPS), Olasunkanmi Ayeni, popularly known as Sukky has been under fire lately over failure to distribute last session’s NAPS package.

Sukky's failure to share the package at the beginning of this new session as he said he would during the holidays, led him to be summoned by the Level Representative Council (LRC).

The LRC sitting ended with the house giving him the ultimatum of Friday, 19th July  to distribute the package.

On Friday evening, 19th of July, a concerned NAPSite showed his dissatisfaction to the Executives and LRC on the general Whatsapp group , about the delay of the distribution of packages as the deadline given to the former President had elapsed.

This was followed by a statement from the LRC confirming that indeed the time given to Sukky had elapsed and a next course of action will be taken.

Sukky defended himself on the group saying that he has little to no control over the situation, as it is ultimately in the hands of the printer, but that as soon as the packages are delivered, the distribution will commence immediately. He then said, “I’m putting it out here that before Thursday 25th July, the books will be shared”.

This was accepted by the LRC as the new proposed deadline.
