UISU DISAPPROVES COMPULSORY PAYMENT OF DUES ON FRESHMEN

 



The University of Ibadan Student Unionhas made it known that, the body is not in support ofthe compulsory payment of dues imposed on freshers, by faculty and departmental Executives.

 

The Union, through a special release on Friday, 19th of March, 2021, signed by the President of the Union, Akeju G. Olusegun, the House Secretary, Oladeji Richard and the P.R.O, Oladeji O. Abiodun, stated that, payment of all dues should not be made compulsory, most especially for freshmen and only a basic due of not more than two thousand, five hundred naira [₦2500] should be charged from the students. The release reads.
