How to wear a Nose Mask Correctly.

It is inescapable today especially in most public and private places all over the world that you wouldn't need to cover your nose and mouth with a Mask due to Covid. As important as the mask is and as delicate the Covid is, it's funny how you see some people wearing the mask incorrectly. Some, I've seen wearing it in such a way that covers just the nose, o wrong now! Some stylishly but uninterestingly cover their mouths only, and some their chin. Clowns! As it has become a new normal for everyone now, with the help of medical experts, they've been able to break down some of the most common mistakes many of us make while wearing face masks. From tricks for keeping your mask clean to tips for getting the best fit possible.

(1) Try and cover your nose and mouth. Face masks are one way to protect yourself and others from the spread of coronavirus, but they're only effective when worn properly. So when you put one on, make sure it covers the most vulnerable spots on your face: the nose and mouth.

(2) It should fit, but comfortably. Note that your mask shouldn't be too tight so much that it hinders your breathing, but you do want to make sure there are no gaps between your face and the mask.

(3) Try and always wash your hands before and after wearing your mask, it's important. Why? Putting a clean, protective face mask on isn't helpful if you touch the insides with dirty stinky hands. If you absolutely have to adjust your mask while wearing it, make sure to clean your hands with sanitizer or soap and water.

(4) Lastly, try and regularly clean or wash your mask at least thrice a week, with hot water or your normal detergent. Most of us don't do this, or am I lying? I'm guilty of this too,but we're not taking seriously the harm we are causing ourselves when putting on a very dirty mask. Some of us have been wearing the same mask since last year, not once have we tried to clean it. Terrible isn't it?  Similarly, once you're done using a disposable mask, wash your hands and remove the mask using the ties then discard it in a trash bin.

Be safe!
