Since resumption from the strike, different events have been unfolding in 'you-high polyticks'. Or is it tse tse now? These events have not only been hilarious but ridiculous to say the least. First, it is unfortunate to note that after resumption, most students resident within the school environ suffered from lack of electricity and water. This issue led the female students especially to find a solution to the plight by themselves. Nobody wants to attend classes smelling like a piece of shit.
Weeks ago, according to report, some female students of the Queen Idia Hall carried their buckets, bowls and containers in search of water. This journey led them to the Great Independence Hall. Some Katangites didn't see this situation as sad but an opportunity to pester the already frustrated ladies. 'Aro', the use of buggings and teasings on unsuspecting victims was used in welcoming the ladies. This writer sees this traditional practice as nothing but a form of verbal and emotional abuse. Now, that's not even the point. How did Mascot enter a picture of shares of slaps, clap backs and physical violence?
Not only is this hilarious but extremely ridiculous. The sheer thought of the university's student union president being whisked away by security operatives is laughable. A metaphorical perspective to this is President Buhari being called upon to help quench fire, yet he brings along with him to the fire scene a keg of petrol. Mascot was called upon to help calm the 'verbal abuse' situation but ironically, the pressure only got 'wersserr'. Mr. President, do we need to ask you what the definition of exemplary leadership is again?
The shege 'polyticks' has seen in this institution is now extended to the grassroots. Help us ask Mr. Prime, the AFAS Sports Director why he feels he can work efficiently without the support of the other executive members of the faculty. He even exited the faculty's executive team page on Whatsapp and believes "every one should focus on their office". Little wonder why the Super Four tournament already stipulated has been suspended.
Mr. Akoem, AFAS presido sir, what sort of cabinet are you running that is already getting divided? A house divided against itself, they say cannot stand. Kindly put your house in order. We know what we saw from the previous administration. We don't want another set of stories that touch the heart.
Kai! 'Polyticks' has seen premium shege in you-high. Man of the people, OMA LAUD, our dear PRO, na UISU TV funds you dey use hold body? It's funny how people can conveniently go against a written constitution. Guess what? Olopa ma ko everybody.
'You-high polyticks' no dey tick again. E come be like sleeping pill. Tse tse fly don bite all of una. Una don dey sleep. Ji masun!
