The Faculty of Arts Sport Director Alawiye Israel popularly known as Prime has maintained that he was never suspended.
According to AFAS Press, it was reported that the faculty Sport director has been allegedly suspended by the executive council following his absence from meetings and his exit from executive WhatsApp group for more than six month.
Reacting to the alleged suspension, on Saturday December 3, Prime posted on his WhatsApp status and wrote: “In short, I wasn’t suspended. Super 4 and inter level were just delayed. Prime is back”.
Fielding questions from NAPS Press correspondent, Prime averred that he was never suspended as there was only disagreement among the executives which led to the creation of investigative committee by the Faculty Legislative Council (FLC) and while investigation was on-going, he ought to stay out of office as mandated by the constitution
He said: “Just to clear the air about my suspension, I was never suspended. We had these issues with ourselves in the executive council. The FLC (Faculty legislative council) created an investigative committee to investigate if I am guilty.
“So, at the end of the tunnel, I was reinstated and the Super 4 will still hold. Do you know we were supposed to have held the Super 4 since, but I was not in office because of the investigation. During the investigation, the constitution states that I should vacate office and drop any AFAS thing that is with me”
