Dear diary,
this past week was a wonderful one that did not just entail learning and preparing
for tests, but one that came with the reality that the semester will be over in
a matter of weeks. Sincerely though, I would be unfair not to tell you about
the awesome week I just had. I've been going to classes, making notes, and
getting ready for upcoming tests bit by bit. Like every other one, the week started
with me attending my classes. It's been great to be experiencing the final days
within the four walls of the school, seeing my lecturers teach me for most
probably the very last time. Attending classes with my classmates for what I'd
call the last time has been surreal. I'm learning new things every day, and it
feels amazing to have grown into this learning journey.
Being a final-year
philosophy student, every day is an adventure. I've been attending my classes
diligently, immersing myself in the world of deep thoughts and intriguing
ideas. It's fantastic to be in school, surrounded by my professors, lecturers, and
fellow students. We're all on a journey of exploration and discovery. One of
the things I've been doing is forming notes. It's like making a summary of what
we've all learned in class. It helps me remember things better. I write down
the important stuff in my own words, so I can review it later. Making notes has
made studying so much easier.
Now, here's
the part where reality hit me. I realized that tests are getting closer. It's
like a lightbulb moment when you suddenly realize, "Oh, I have to show
what I've learned!" The thought of upcoming tests is a bit scary, but it's
also a reminder that I need to keep studying and preparing. I mean, there's an
unction that God bestows. I'll need to do my part, but He's always faithful
with His part.
I realized
that the exams were drawing nearer. As a first-year student, the pressure is
on, and the thought of those tests can be a tad intimidating. It's like a
sudden realization that all the knowledge I've accumulated over the years is
going to be put to the test. But you know what they say, "the only way out
is through."
There you
have it, that has been my week - attending classes, creating my own philosophy
notes, and gearing up for my final exams at the University of Ibadan. It's a
beautiful journey of learning, and the fact that the exams are approaching is
slowly but surely sinking in. It's both exciting and a little nerve-wracking,
but God is by my side and I'm ready to embrace the challenge. After all, it's
all part of the adventure of being an undergraduate.
Dear diary,
wish me luck!
