Don't kill that your swallow craving. Just like there are different approaches to preparing rice, there are different approaches to preparing egusi and it is not mandatory that your egusi soup must have vegetable or fish. Not even with what this economy is saying. Do you have some grinded egusi? Let's make a wallet-friendly egusi soup without vegetables. I call it the 'Sapa-Inspired' Egusi Soup.

Ingredients Needed:
Palm oil
Dried pepper (adjust quantity based on tolerance)
Seasoning cubes
Salt
Grinded Egusi (melon seeds)

Instructions:
Begin by heating palm oil in a pot until it reaches a hot temperature.
Add dried pepper to the palm oil, adjusting the quantity to match your spice tolerance.
Add in seasoning cubes and salt to enhance the flavor of the soup.
In a bowl, mix the grinded egusi with little water. So as not to make it too thick. Ensure you mix well, so as to avoid lumps in the mixture.
Add the egusi mixture into the pot.
Stir and fry the mixture for approximately 10–15 minutes.

You can now serve your egusi soup with your favourite swallow or rice, get a cold water, eat and drink. No be only rich man dey enjoy life, abeg. Bye!
