It's no longer news that school has resumed, and students of the first and best have all (maybe not all) started planning how their semester is going to be in order to avoid clustered activities, and unnecessary spending. However, not every student tries to avoid unnecessary spending upon resumption.

As per money dey always much upon resumption for people hand. "New semester, more money" and this is why a lot of students end up going broke mid semester. To save you from this dilemma, here are seven realistic tips to maintain a pocket-friendly lifestyle this semester. No gree for brokeness this semester. 

1. Set a Realistic Budget: Create a detailed budget that includes all anticipated expenses, such as transportation, accommodation, meals, and activities. Be realistic about your spending limits and stick to your budget throughout the semester. Tracking your expenses will help you make informed decisions and avoid overspending.

2. Cook your meals: Cook most of your own meals. Eating out is always more expensive than cooking your own food, whether you're living on campus or off campus, always endeavor to prepare your own food to avoid excess spending on food purchase.

3. Always make a list of items before shopping: You know what happens when you go to the store or market without a list of items you intend tol buy? You end up spending excessively, and way beyond your budget. So, make it a priority today to always make a list of items you would buy at the store or market.

4. Track your expenses: Keep a record of all your expenses, including small purchases. This will help you understand where your money is going.

5. Save for emergencies: Set aside a portion of your income for unexpected expenses or emergencies.

6. Adapt to the reality that you're no longer at home: Get used to the idea of not having all the amenities you had at home. If you try to recreate your home environment, you'll blow yourbudget for sure.

7. Be cautious of your spending: Do not spend money on things you do not need, with money you do not have, to impress people you do not like. It's really not worth your money.
