The Department of English, University of Ibadan, in collaboration with African Pragmatics Association presents their third African Pragmatics Conference.
This year’s conference is themed, “Pragmatics and Global Security”.
The conference is slated to hold between 19th of February to 21st of February, 2024 at Subomi Balogun Conference Centre, University of Ibadan, Nigeria.
The Chief-Host of the conference is the Vice Chancellor of University of Ibadan and Host is Prof. Nana Aba Appiah-Amfo, the President of African Pragmatics Association and the Vice Chancellor of the University of Ghana.
The Keynote Speaker, Prof Benson Ojwang, a Professor at the Department of Languages and Literature, Kamosi Friends University, Kamosi, Kenya.
The Speakers for the plenary session include, Prof Esther Ugwu, a lecturer from the the Department of English, University of Benin and Prof. Aderemi Raji-Oyelade, a lecturer from the Department of English, University of Ibadan.
