HELPFUL KITCHEN TIPS

There are many of us who find delight in cooking a meal. It is much like creating art, experimenting with flavors, spices and smells. There are others(like me) who can't relate and just eat to survive and will only cook if it is absolutely necessary. But whatever category you fall into, these kitchen hacks should be valuable to you. For those who find delight, to appreciate the fine art of cooking and for those who couldn't care less, to reduce our sufferings

1)PREP-  If you estimated the amount of time you use to cook, you'd find that more than 50% is spent prepping(cutting, peeling, opening etc). It's best to always have prepared ingredients ready. Here are tips to prep:

- Cut and wash ingredients during leisure and keep them in the fridge, or in a dry place

- If you aren't eating that same day, you could cook meats and keep their stock in the freezer(if you have one) you would find that stock is always useful for food

- If you are a semi lazy person like me, you could always buy already prepped ingredients from the supermarke like canned and crushed tomatoes, peeled and sliced potatoes etc. Though can products aren't the healthiest

2)BUY APPLIANCES- Contrary to opinion not all appliances are expensive. You can invest in pressure cookers, in air fryers or even a two headed stove for twice the speed. Alright I hear what you are saying, you need money for those things but is anything too much to avoid spending hours in the cooking

3)REDUCE SUFFERING- These are tips to reduce those little kitchen hazards that occur almost constantly.

- Rub your hand in oil before cutting pepper to avoid that peppery tinge

- Put onions in the fridge or under running water  before cutting to avoid those tears

- If oil splashes on you, a first medication is salt. If it isn't available use your saliva (gross but effective)

There you go, I've helped your life. Cheers!!!!!!v
