Fashion Ethics

 FASHION ETHICS

Fashion ethics is adding touches of etiquette to every bit of your dressing. It is making a commendable statement with your outfit- 'knowing what is appropriate to wear for particular occasions'. Imagine how insensitive it is to wear a bright yellow or pink dress to a funeral; the standard colour for mourning is black. In other words, what you wear is defined by the entertainment.

There are other similar etiquettes in dressing that many carelessly disregard, and trust me to point out a number of them. Fashion sense is not just all about wearing designers from the crown of your head to the sole of your feet.

1. All visible tags on clothes should be cut off. Don't wear too many prints. We already know your shirt or bag is of the Louis Vuitton limited edition, but please do well to detach those tags, we don't want to see them dangling.

2. If you tucked in your shirt, you should wear a belt. Now, quite a number of people highly disregard this. You shouldn't go without a belt after tucking in your shirt.

3. Do not pretend that you are a size smaller. Do not wear too tight a pair of pants. If you cannot fit in it, don't wear it. You don't have to force yourself into a set of tight clothes- get new ones and don't assume that it would go unnoticed; those fashion police never get tired.

4. Never wear sweaters on a summer day. It is all shades of wrong to wear sweaters on a sunny day. You might have, but do not make that mistake again.

5. Do not overdo prints and patterns. This leads to clumsiness and leaves nothing but a weird imagination to the beholder. Your prints and patterns can be simple, yet stylish!
