The executives of the National Association of Philosophy Students (NAPS) have admonished Napsites to pay their dues for a smooth administrative tenure.
During the first congress of the session held at the departmental library, on Tuesday, the President of the association, Umoh Imebong, popularly known as Peggie, while addressing NAPSites, emphasized on the need to pay their dues for a better administration, most especially the staylites.
She pointed out that the past administration was unable to organize a Dinner party at the end of the last session for Napsites, not because they did not want to, but because of the low turnout of Napsites in paying for the dinner and pleaded with Napsites to pay their dues this time around, as the low turnout of staylites in paying their dues is posing the need for the measure of Napsites needing their receipts to sign their course forms.
She also made it known that there is room for the payment of the dues in installments. Interested Napsites can reach out to the treasurer.
As at the time of the congress, according to the breakdown of the total revenue received so far by the current executives and the total expenditure since the advent of the current administration, given by the Treasurer of the department, only 7 staylites have paid, with freshers taking the largest number of napsites that have paid their basic dues of Three Thousand Naira, each.
