It is easy to just eat out, but eating out can be quick expensive. So here are some pocket friendly dishes you can enjoy without breaking your bank.

1) "Moi Moi" (Beans Pudding)- Bean is used to make moi moi, which can be eaten with pap or custard. This recipe just calls for 3 cups of beans, crayfish, spice, eggs, etc. There would be enough moi moi for 6 people with justaround 2000 Naira.

2)Noodles - Cheap and simple to make, noodles. They are a fantastic choice because they contain all the vital elements. Four large-sized noodle packs that would cost roughly 1200 naira should serve a household of six. Vegetables and eggs can be included without going over budget. It is also very easy and quick to make and can be made under 10 mins

3)Spaghetti- Today, a box of spaghetti costs only 500 naira. You will also require some vegetables and tomatoes (carrots and green beans). Fish, meat, or solely corned beef are all acceptable. You should be able to cook a pot of spaghetti with 2000 naira.

4)Plantain porridge- In Nigeria, plantains are reasonably priced at specific seasons. They can be roasted, fried, or made into porridge. Keep in mind that buying in bulk will save you a lot of money. Purchasing a bunch of plantains is far less expensive than doing so from a store. By skipping the street markets and shopping instead at the larger markets, you can save even more money.
