NAPS SouthWest Coordinator Visits UI Chapter

 




NAPS Southwest Zonal Coordinator, Chrysogonus M. Okwenna and Senate President NAPS Nigeria Visits UI Chapter.

 On Thursday, 15th July, 2021 Chrysogonus M. Okwenna the zonal coordinator of National Association of Philosophy Students and Anyanwu Francis, Senate President of NAPS Nigeria paid visit to the executives of NAPS UI

Speaking with our correspondent, Mr Chris gave reasons for their visit. He said: "We are on familiarization visit cum letting the chapter know upcoming events of NAPS. University of Ibadan chapter has been playing pivotal roles in NAPS Nigeria and we have noticed decline in participation"




Talking about the  reception, Mr Chrysogonus M. Okwenna said he was glad to see Mr Tola Layode and Dr. Ademola Lawal (lecturers from the department) as these are the people he read in book about how they spearheaded bringing NAPS back when it was falling into extinction.

He stressed on the activities to expect from them, such as; convention that will last for 3 days and welcome all NAPSITES which will be coming up towards July or August at Uniport. New Executives will be elected during the convention and NAPS maiden journal will as well be launched, he said.

He also pointed it out that they have been to EKSU and they will also be visiting OAU, AAUA and DELSU  respectively
