A new session has begun, with the yuletide festivities firmly behind us. Another academic year has kicked off with the academic environment bustling with students tying to settle in and catch up with the fast paced academic activities. Finalists are beginning to apply supersonic speed to their clearance process as they obviously cannot wait to throw the hustle for academic excellence in UI behind them. Others prowl around campus to catch the tiniest of information on how to navigate their ways through the new academic session.
For the freshmen, it is a great opportunity to have been qualified to be students of the Nigerian Premier University, and it is important to have it engraved on the tables of your hearts that your academics is your foremost priority here. You should also have your plans in order by now and ensure that as much as possible you avoid any pressure whatsoever while trying to achieve them. As you venture into securing academic success, ensure that you maintain an awesome mental health and try to get medical attention when the need arises. It is also important to be cautious about the kind of relationships you keep.
To the staylites, your past performance does not define you. Your journey in University of Ibadan continues, your prowess keeps counting. It is another opportunity to be the best you can be. As much as UI may try to tamper with your emotions, do not be hard on yourself, you are not a failure; that is why you are here in the first place. All you need do is add a touch of diligence, discipline and hardwork to explore and unlock maximum academic success. Trust the process and have faith in the Almighty to bring your efforts to fruition.
